Corn steady to slightly higher
Soybeans -4 to -5
The corn market was higher at the start of early morning trade as President Trump suggested that China was discussing buying heavier amounts of US corn in the future. Trade talks with China are rumored to be going well. On the other hand, the soybean market has took a hit because China is supposedly trying to expand agriculture reforms to help their rural economy - in other words there will be more incentives for their producers to plant domestic beans. The trade is based off rumors and discussion right now….
