Opening calls:

Corn:  penny lower

Beans:  penny lower

Good morning!

Grains trading slightly lower this morning after a positive day in soybeans yesterday. Brazilian soybeans are being planted at a record fast pace, meaning an early harvest. China continues to march on without purchasing U.S. beans, so if no progress is made an early harvest could see China continue to be takers of Brazilian beans. The markets are closely watching for any headlines on the meeting between President Trump and President Xi next week. The market probably won’t be trading anything else.

Reminder: Markets trade hours today, and will close at Noon on Friday.

This week’s podcast will post later today and features a special message from Landus Cooperative’s CEO and Chief Commodity Marketing Officer.

This is an interesting infographic from the USDA that was tweeted yesterday. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving holiday!
