Opening Calls:

Corn down 1 to 2

Soybeans Steady to 1 higher


Weekly EIA ethanol production and stocks report will be out this morning. Stocks on hand have been at record highs.


The Brazilian and Argentine corn crop planting progress remain ahead of average. The next WASDE report will be released on November 11th.


The Trump Administration is prepared to enact tariffs on the rest of all goods coming in from China if the upcoming meeting between President Trump and President Xi doesn't ease trade tensions. The two leaders are scheduled to have a meeting at the end of November when the Group of 20 nations meets for their annual summit. Until then we wait…


Yesterday the USDA announced that they intend to make the full $1.65 payment to soybean producers.


The September dollar index and December crude oil contract are both trading higher this morning.
