Opening Calls:

Corn down 1-2

Beans down 3-4

Good forecast for next 7-10 days is keeping pressure on the grains this morning as harvest will continue moving along. If the forecast holds, traders feel that bean harvest will catch up to “average” harvested pace by next Monday’s harvest progress updates.

Better than expected yields throughout the Midwest are continuing to be reported – for both corn and soybeans. South American weather continues to be favorable for planting.  They also continue to get the right amount of timely rains.
