Corn: 3 cents higher
Beans: 3 cents higher
Grains are trading slightly higher this morning after a low day yesterday. U.S. weather conditions are now a major factor in price direction and this year’s outlook favors a drier than normal trend. Recent rains that have moved through the corn belt, in addition to the heat, have really helped these crops along. Globally, the Brazilian trucker strike is slowly coming to an end and Brazilian commodity exporters are scrambling to resume operations. So far this month, nearby corn prices are down 6 cents and soybeans are 25 cents weaker.
Have a good day!
