Corn: penny lower
Beans: 3 cents higher
Grains mixed this morning as soybeans continue to be supported on hopes U.S. and China trade relations will improve. We have a monthly WASDE USDA report today at 11a.m., we will see ending stocks values for this year and estimated stocks for next year (2018/19), as well as acres. Weekly export reports showed very strong values for corn once again - very good news!
The national corn planting pace was reported at 2% complete, in line with estimates and the five-year average, but down a point from last year. Warmth crawls into the corn belt this week hopefully allowing for some field work to get completed.
