Opening calls:

Corn unchanged to down a penny

Soybeans down 4 to 6 cents

Good morning!

Corn lost a penny by the close yesterday, but has been holding fairly steady this week. Soybeans lost 10 cents by the close as funds participated in profit taking rather than holding out for the results of the report.

Traders continue selling off this morning ahead of the USDA report. Again, we are looking to see how the actual numbers for South American soybean production for with analyst estimates. We also want to watch how those production numbers impact world ending stocks.

Don't forget about our member meetings!

Today we will be in Glidden at 11am and Friday in Menlo at 11am.
