Good Morning and Happy New Year!
There was no overnight trade last night for grains. Things are starting a little higher this A.M. with corn up slightly and beans up about a nickel.
The Commitment of Traders report from last Friday showed funds net short over 200,000 contracts, and more than 69,000 contracts short soybeans. For now, all eyes are on the January 12th WASDE report, which tends to give some pretty decent direction until we start trading U.S. weather.
This morning, Landus Cooperative employees will be handing out deferred payment checks in excess of $135 million. We thank you for your business and your confidence in your cooperative.
Registration is still open for “Ventures: Connections & Conversations” in ag, Landus Cooperative’s inaugural women in ag conference. Check out the full agenda here: http://www.landuscooperative.com/news_release/registration-now-open-for-ventures-connections-conversations-in-ag/
