Corn steady to +1
Soybeans +1 to 2
Corn traded slightly higher on the overnight session after slipping into over sold territory last week. This will add some support to the corn market this week. Corn export sales remain solid and in line with USDA projections, but shipments are well behind for this time of year.
Beans also traded higher on the overnight session. The funds have reduced their long positions for soybeans with weather concerns in South America. Very quiet news day so far today. We will likely have thinner than normal trade later this week with lots of traders out for the holiday season. This could add some volatility to the market.
