Corn steady to 1 lower
Corn up slightly on the overnight session after closing slightly lower yesterday. Corn seems to be very happy where it is at, trading in very tight ranges over the last couple of days. Corn funds are still very short for this time of year, and it will be hard weather in Argentina remains favorable and weighing in on soybean prices. Most of Argentina is expected to get 1-4 inches of rain.
Soybeans were trading higher on the overnight session. They have lost a substantial amount of ground over the last week and a half due to improvements in the South American weather outlook. Trade will continue to monitor this weather very closely.
