Opening Calls:

Corn steady to down 1

Beans – 2 to -3

Active harvest progress and mostly good yields are weighing on prices. Rain chances persist this week for much of the Corn Belt.

Outside markets are also bearish, dollar is higher and crude oil is down more than $1/barrel.

Chinese traders are off this week for their holiday which could be like a slow news day all week.

A recent surge in barge freight rates, due to low water levels, pushes it to a 3 year high and will have a big impact on soybean values.

Reminder to download our mobile app for grain prices, harvest hours and scale to scale timeframe.
