Corn and beans both traded higher overnight. The big mover is wheat, based on a report estimating Australia’s wheat crop to be reduced by 32 percent from last year’s record. Also this week, traders will be watching for Thursday’s WASDE reports, as well as new Brazilian soybean production estimates. This crop seems to be growing with every estimate. Many also anticipate an increase in Brazilian corn production of 1-2 MMT. This would put Brazil’s total corn production 21 MMT higher than last year.
This week starts our guest speaker series. We will be hosting a different grain analyst every Wednesday through the end of March. RSVP at (877) 778-2226.
Also starting today, there are 8 town hall meetings in the next couple of weeks for members and customers. See the website for complete details, times and locations.
