The night session was quiet last night, trading steady/mixed early but leaking lower as the session wore on. This could be the calm before the storm as the usually exciting stocks and acreage reports will be out tomorrow at 11am. Friday could be interesting also as it will be full of pollination weather trade as the market braces for a 3-day weekend where much can change. FYI the markets will close Friday afternoon as normal but not open again until Tuesday morning at 8:30 (no night session prior).
Overall, with the large amount of risk sitting in front of us tomorrow - prices could bounce around quite a bit throughout today’s session. The weather forecasts aren’t providing the bulls with much of anything to run with today which is giving the opening calls a slightly bearish tone.
Corn steady to 2 cents lower
Soybeans are 5 to 8 cents lower
Have a great day!
