The markets were quiet overnight and are sitting pretty much unchanged as I type this.  The outside markets are a touch weaker as crude oil appears like it ran into a little selling pressure last night.  Weather in South America continues to look ideal, many analysts are starting to bump up their production estimates for soybeans in both Brazil and Argentina.  The cash markets here in the US are stagnant.  Farmer selling has pretty much shut down after prices fell around 15c in corn since the start of last week. Even with farmer selling being slow, basis has a weaker feel to it also as good weather and cheap, available freight is allowing grain to flow with ease, both truck and rail.

Opening Calls

Corn steady/higher

Soybeans steady/higher

Have a great day!
