It was a quiet night last night with corn and beans both working a shade lower – pretty much giving yesterday’s gains back.  After Tuesday’s bearish report, it isn’t surprising that rallies will be hard fought and difficult to sustain.  The weekly export sales report that is usually out on Thursday mornings has been delayed until tomorrow due to yesterday’s holiday.  There will however be weekly ethanol production data released later this morning.  With poor blend margins recently, ethanol stocks are expected to remain steady and maybe show slight increases when compared to last week’s report.

Other than that – expect a choppy trade and without any new news, rallies should be limited.

Opening Calls

Corn down 1 to 2 cents

Soybeans down 4 to 5 cents

Have a great day!
