The corn and soybean futures markets were quiet last night, and they were both trading a touch higher at the 7:45am market pause.  With the USDA report out tomorrow, expect a choppy trade today as positions get evened up.  The outside markets might be the only input offering direction today - currently the $US is lower which is helping crude oil and most other commodities trade higher.  If the $US stays weak all day, I wouldn’t be surprised to see both corn and soybeans close higher this afternoon.

Opening Calls

Corn steady to 1c higher

Soybeans 2 to 4 cents higher

Have a great day!
