Mixed trade overnight, beans were a touch lower while corn traded both sides of unchanged.  Corn seemed to be hanging in there due to a wheat market that is a little firmer. Not a lot of news to discuss, the crop condition report was out last night, and even though it loses its luster this late into the season, soybean ratings were up 2% which may explain some of the weakness last night.  Soybean harvest is showing ahead of pace while corn drags behind, but the weather maps (below) are calling for below normal precip and above normal temps – meaning that corn harvest should catch up quickly.

Openings Calls

Corn steady to 2c higher

Soybeans mixed/lower

Have a great day!
