Our markets were a bit firmer overnight, with both corn and soybeans a shade higher at the 7:45am pause.  The outside markets seem to be taking a breather from the wild week and commodities following suit.  The corn market has been in a sideways pattern ever since the August crop report was digested and soybean futures have remained under some pressure – although they’ve been relatively sideways this week.  Overall today looks to be a quiet day and I wouldn’t be surprised to see both corn and beans trade on both sides of yesterday’s close.

Opening Calls

Corn steady to 2 cents higher

Soybeans 2 to 4 cents higher

Have a great day!
