World financial markets rallied overnight as China continues to make attempts to stabilize their markets (Chinese equites up 5.3% overnight).  This has everyone feeling a little better this morning and our grain markets, led by soybeans, are along for the ride.  There is a system coming into the Midwest this week that will bring precip early on but is expected to be following by a ridge – creating hot/dry conditions for next week. There is a little concern about that as crop conditions could start to work a backwards in places. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but when you have a market that is desperate for positive news – this (along with a rally in the financials) might be enough to keep us higher all day.

Opening Calls

Corn 1 to 2 cents higher

Soybeans 10 to 12 cents higher

Have a great day!
