Not a lot of new news to discuss this morning.  Corn seems to be following the wheat market which was up nearly a dime yesterday and was another 4-5c higher overnight.  The $US was weaker for most of the night session which also offered support to corn/soybean prices – but has since rallied back a bit which makes the opening calls a little murky.  Could see a mixed open.

**Reminder** - no markets Sunday night / Monday due to Memorial Day, the overnight electronic session will fire up again at 7pm Monday night and we will have normal hours Tuesday.  With this 3-day weekend in front of us, it feels like today could be a day for traders to square up their positions ahead of it which could keep prices choppy.  We may get a bit of support into the close from weather forecasts which call for cool, wet conditions across the Plains / Corn belt.

Opening Calls

Corn 1 to 2 cents higher

Soybeans steady to a penny higher

Have a great day!
