The grain markets are a touch firmer thanks in part to the $US that is slipping lower as we head into the weekend (down 500 pts).  Equities are also rallying (the DOW up 125 pts) while crude oil has bounced off of overnight lows and is now trading higher.


The weather maps have turned drier for the western Corn Belt (the NOAA 6-10 & 8-14 day precip maps are below).   This is starting to effect wheat prices as winter wheat conditions are slipping and with the dry weather.  Monday’s conditions report should show that trend continuing…


Opening Calls

Corn steady to 2c higher

Soybeans steady/mixed
