The corn and bean markets traded lower last night after a good performance through yesterday’s close. Look for the trade to be steady to lower today as positions are finalized ahead of Monday’s stocks and acreage report. Crop conditions,
also released on Monday, are expected to improve a little over last week in both corn and soybeans. (74% g/e for corn, 72% g/e for beans). There were some heavy rains throughout Iowa yesterday and last night, but our 8-14 day weather outlook appears to be
warmer than normal with average amounts of precipitation.
Opening calls:
Corn 1 to 2 lower
Soybeans 1 to 4 lower
Have a good day!
