Departments

At Farmers Cooperative Co. we are structured into 4 main departments, Agronomy, Feed, Grain, and Seed. Each department is unique, but we all work together to serve our customers and members. FC’s Motto is “TOGETHER WE CAN!”

FC’s Agronomy Department serves customers at over 39 locations across central Iowa giving us one of the largest agronomy divisions in the state. For more information about our Agronomy Department click here: FC Agronomy.

FC’s Feed Department has 6 manufacturing locations across central, north central and northwest Iowa. From these feed mills, FC manufactures 500,000+ tons of complete feed annually. For more information about our Feed Department click here: FC Feed.

Farmers Cooperative Co. (FC) is the largest local cooperative grain marketer in Iowa. FC has 40 grain receiving elevators located across the membership area. Over 118,000,000 bushels of grain are handled annually; FC also has grain storage of 75,000,000 bushels. Our Seed Department works very closely with the Agronomy Department since both serve the same customers. FC has its own brand of seed bean and is the only local, farmer-owned cooperative in the nation with a license to process and market Roundup Ready® soybeans.
