FC Academy

We offer selected employees a journey to further develop effective leadership and management skills over a two year period.

The FC Academy is tailored to meet the needs of growing leaders who demonstrate potential for roles within the cooperative. This program will provide core leadership competencies, including managing work, leading people, and managing resources. Throughout the FC Academy you will work closely with your manager who will support and encourage you throughout the process.

FC Academy sessions are scheduled quarterly over the course of a 24-month period.
These sessions are interactive and help leaders do the following:

• Understand what is expected of them as leaders
• Get things done through others rather than doing it themselves
• Learn how to provide formal and information feedback
• Be an effective performace and career coach
• Select the right people
• Build and maintain effective teams
• Understand and adjust their leadership styles
• Establish trusting relationships
• Ensure appropriate behavior in the workplace
