Sales & Operations Trainee
This training program is designed for someone who may not have a lot of experience in the ag service industry. As a Sales & Operations Trainee you will be exposed to many facets of Farmers Cooperative including safety, counter and computer training, the physical aspects of the location where you work, grain grading and blending, agronomy sales, management skills, inventory monitoring and management, documentation and record keeping and more.
This program allows the Trainee the flexibility to learn both about facility operations in grain and agronomy and about FC's agronomy sales organization and structure. The program will be tailored to meet each individual's specific interests and goals. Once you have completed the program and met your established goals, you should have a good idea whether a career in operations or sales would better fit you. You will also have gained the valuable experience you need to take the next step in furthering your career at FC.
