FC considers the development of people one of its highest priorities and strongly believes in offering internship programs to qualified students who are willing to learn. Our internship programs offer opportunities to learn and to better develop student skills in the agribusiness industry.

FC has a wide variety of programs to choose from:    

FC 101

This is a summer internship that is customized to fit the intern’s career interests. As a FC 101 Intern will be assigned a mentor to ensure that expected results are achieved. FC 101 Interns are trained in grain, agronomy, seed, feed, and administration/accounting.

Agronomy Sales

This three month internship allows the intern to see firsthand all aspects of FC’s Agronomy Department. The internship is customized within the agronomy field to best meet the career goals of the intern. The areas of opportunities range from field sales to precision agriculture.

Operations Internships

This internship is customized to the season of the year that the intern will be working. Here you will learn the different operations that are needed for both grain and agronomy. These interns will learn why weighing, grading, and segregation are important when dealing with grain. When working in agronomy you will begin with learning to make and understand work orders and how to dispatch the floaters and tenders. They will also shadow a Field Sales Agronomist on sales calls and assist with normal day-to-day operations.
